The New Puppy

Hi, I'm sorry it's been so long since I posted. I got a surprise that I never expected for Christmas. I got a puppy! She's SO cute. Once when we were shopping, we walked around, trying to get her to a patch of grass for her to use the bathroom at the store, we had to carry her to the patch of grass, of course, but as we walked by, some people passing us hadn't realized that she was ALIVE until she looked around.

Anyway, to cut to the chase, she needs a name. If you have a name you think would be perfect for her, comment on this post and tell me about the name.I already have some really good suggestions, but I would really like to hear what you have to say. If you want, you can also say how you think that a dog that's named the name that you suggest should act.

Reviews and News

I just watched part of the new Movie Tinker Bell and The Lost Treasure. I missed the beginning, :( but I LOVED what I saw.
I'm going to either be EVERYTHING when I grow up, or I'll be ALMOST everything, but I'm practicing at writing/critic skills.
Here's my Review of (what I saw of) the movie Tinker Bell and The Lost Treasure.

It was filled with excitement, adventure, fun, and fairies. Tinker Bell has a big responsibility-connected job. She has to take care of the autumn scepter, (as far as I know) which brings the blue pixie dust to Pixie Hollow. If the blue pixie dust does not reach the pixie dust tree, the pixie dust will be weakened, and hardly any will be left. Tinker Bell learns that you can't blame other people for things you did, and you should try not to have fights with friends.

Thank you for reading my review.

You can find more Tinker Bell and friends at this site. Click HERE.

If you want to find places to buy the regular movie click HERE.
You can find the newest Tinker Bell movie HERE.

At My Aunt's Again

I went to my aunt's again recently and they bought some rope just today from Wiggins. She tied the rope to a tree, tied a pillow on the bottom of the rope. I take off running, then I lift my feet up onto the pillow and I swing back and forth from the rope tied to the tree.
My cousin had a computer that he would share with some other guys and when he didn't want it anymore, he gave it to my aunt. Then, after we started hooking up cords, we realized that one cord was missing. We went garage-sale-hunting again a few days ago because I stayed the night, and we found a cord that would work perfectly on the computer.
I also found a game for one dollar I had been wanting since it came out. (which was a pretty long while ago) Called Dream Life. Click on Dream Life to see offers on an online site for Dream Life. (I don't have Dream Life Superstar), (but I want it).

Just News...

My aunt went garage sale-hunting a little while ago and bought some Christmas cookies boxes. The people she bought them from said they bought them to make cookies and store them there, but they never did. My aunt bought them, and when it's Christmas, we'll be baking until time to go to bed probably. I love sugar cookies. They're so good. I absolutely have to have one every Christmas.
I've always dreamed of being a reporter. And I've always wondered what it would feel like to read my own writing in the newspaper. I'm like Kit Kittredge. To go to the site where I found Kit Kittredge, Click HERE. Once you're there at the site, click on Historical characters at the bottom of
the page. Then, once you're in it, click on any one of the games. Then you'll see at the bottom of the page, a button leading to Kit games. These games are fun for 8 yrs. through 12.

Lots of Things

Old Fashioned home cooking is what makes my mouth water. The smell of those grilled cheese sandwiches cooking on the burners, the lovely smell of the burgers grilling on the patio and the wonderful, outgoing, beautiful, terrific smell of the cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. Sorry, I got carried away on the adoring desert thing.
I've not been anywhere recently except that I got my ears pierced today. This is what my earrings look like. The back of them and the posts are gold. I've been wanting to get my ears pierced for twenty seven years. Not really but for almost all of my ten-year old life. It didn't hurt at all after the first two seconds.

I also went to a birthday party today. I just sort of nibbled on my cake when we got there because I'm not very hungry at the time of day when the party started.

My Aunt's

My Aunt's house is so cool. She has a dog named Macy. She's a Cocker Spaniel and she sometimes gets into mischief. She's a very nice dog. My Cousin bought her and then after she had grown, gave her to my aunt. She is about six years old. In dog years she is 42. One time, Macy had briers all in her little ears. I helped my aunt carefully cut out the long pieces and pull out the thorns.

This is part of some of my aunt's many acres of land. She grows hundreds of flowers, fruits and vegetables every year. This year her peach tree grew lots of peaches and we made peach pie. Elephant ears which look like elephant ears, sprout up when she plants them wildly here. I love to garden with her. Everything she throws out to plants for fertilizer, sprouts up from the ground with her flowers. We have wild muscadines and persimmons growing here. Me and my aunt like to cook things. It's something we share strongly. I cook with her almost every time I visit. She makes muscadine jelly. I don't know if I like it or not anymore because it's been so long since I tasted it.
Me and my aunt cook little pizzas with crusts made out of canned biscuits, tomatoes, bagels and sometimes English muffins. We add all kinds of things from her garden we've washed on them.
Cherry tomatoes, banana peppers and sometimes wild or green onions. I'll add a recipe here for you to try.

Homemade Pizzas
What you'll need: crust, (anything from a slice of tomato to canned biscuits)
tomatoes, peppers, pepperoni or any other toppings you like, a grown-up and a good working toaster oven or regular oven and a can or jar of pizza sauce.

Step 1
Roll up your sleeves and wash your hands. Then get your crust and roll it flat. (Only do this if the crust isn't tomatoes) Then you take the pizza sauce with a spoon and dip it out onto the crust.
Then you add lots (if you like) of cheese.

Step 2
Get all your toppings ready. Add all the toppings you like onto your crust and then ask a grown-up to put it in the oven for you. In the oven cook it about 5 minutes to 10 (or how much time it takes to make the crust crispy). Then ask the grown-up to take it out of the oven for you. (be careful, they're really hot) Then enjoy your pizzas! Be sure to pray before you eat! Try having this recipe for dinner one night!

The Not-So Great Bike-Ride

One day I was riding my bike at the park with my aunt. I rode around the walking trail and right as I was riding to a place where there was a dip in the walking trail and then a sharp curve, I forgot to slow down and turn, and there I was heading for a four-inch deep creek. With two big rocks - and I was headed straight for them! Even though I panicked from having a dream that I fell into a creek and drowned while riding my bike, I managed to turn in between the rocks, but the worst part wasn't over. I landed face-first in the four-inch creek with gravels in the bottom. My bike flew into the air and landed on my back. I got up and I had a nose bleed. My aunt was the only adult there and she came running to help me up. She helped my get my bike and we went to my aunt's big, blue van. She took me to her house to clean me up. I had on thick coveralls so I was only skint up.
Even after all that was over I sat in the room in the bed where I sleep when I stay all night, then I trembled, whimpered, cried a little and had chill bumps run up and down my spine. I knew that would never happen again, but I still remember how scary it seemed to have rode right into a creek.

STARS

I like American Girl Magazines and books. They help me find creativity, how to stand strong and who I am. AmericanGirl's site is AWESOME for little girls. I also like Marykate and Ashly. I've just heard of The Cheetah Girls and don't really know if I like them or not. The Suite Life on Deck is a COOL TV show. I know that I love fashion, and I know that pink is the style these days.
Anyway, iCarly is SO cool. Click on iCarly to go to their show's site. They have a series of shows I really like. One of the series I like is "Wake up Spencer" and another is "iDrive thru". I'll write more later. Have a good night.

REALLY fun game sites.

The Terrible Perfume

There once was a girl named Katie, and she had a play date with her friend Mckena. They started making perfumes by taking a play blender, adding water and some glitter, then they started mixing flower petals and some of Katie's perfumes.

They'd name each one, take some paper tape, write the name, stick it on a spray bottle, and put the wonderful-smelling perfume inside the spray bottles. Pretty soon they had made a BIG collection of the perfumes.

Then, when they went to the Missionettes meeting, the next Tuesday, Katie told Mckena before they made crafts, that the perfume rotted. She knew this because the day before, she had tried to wear it, and as soon as the perfume was on her neck, it made the whole house smell of rotten perfume.

She had wore it to Missionettes to show Mckena, and it smelt TERRIBLE!!! To this day, they have never made any more perfume, mixing different perfumes, flowers, glitter and water.
